**Important Announcement Alley-Oop Youth Basketball is now OGP Garden Grove YBL**

Hello Alley-Oop Families,

 

I am excited to announce that Alley-Oop will be joining the OGP Family.  We are now OGP Garden Grove Youth Basketball League.  I wanted to take the time to thank all the participants of the league.  We have appreciated your support and we will continue with our vision to provide the best basketball experience to our league participants.  The partnership will give us the opportunity to help evolve the youth basketball landscape in the local area by leveraging our combined resources and experience.

For the Fall League Season

• No changes are will be made to format or fees.
• Expect to see improvements in media coverage and promoting of the league games
• We will be moving to using the app called “OGP Youth Basketball League” it is an app that is powered by Exposure Events.  In the app store type in “OGP Youth Basketball League” and you will see it.
• The new app will be used for checking schedule, results, and standings.
• For those that sign up individually rosters will be provided to Coaches and Players directly via e-mail and we will not be using the TeamSnap app.

For the following seasons we are working on making improvements and adjustments to the format.  One of the reasons we partnered up was to ensure we evolve with the times.  Leagues in the past get too stuck in their ways and do not make changes/improvements.  So we are partnering up to work towards improving the player and parent experience.

For those that have registered on the Alley-Oop website all information will be transferred to the new system so no action will be required for those that have registered in the TeamSnap system.  You can continue to register there for the fall season if you have difficulty with the new system.  If you register in either system you will be good to go for the Fall.
