** GG YBL Winter Season Update #2 **
Hello YBL Families,
Welcome to week #2!
This week for those that are using gyme-time through the YBL we are resuming practice this week, time to work off the Thanksgiving feast!
Opening Night is this weekend!
The schedule will post on Wednesday Night late. An email will go out letting you know it has been posted along with instructions on how to access it.
Important Notes for the Week
- If you have registered for the Winter Season as a free agent and you do not have your team info please contact me immediately.
- The next break will be the weeks of Christmas and New Years (12/23 - 1/4)
- Game schedules will be posted on 12/4
- Uniforms will be handed out at your first game
- We still have a few open spots. Time to ask a friend to join in!
- 3/4 Grade - 3 Spots
- 5/6 Grade - 4 Spots
- 7/8 Grade - 3 Spots

Game Schedule Details
- The game schedule will post on 12/4
- A link will be provided when it posts
Key Dates:
- Regular Season: December 6 - January 25
- Teams will play a total of six games during this period.
- Playoffs: January 31 - February 1
- Every team qualifies for the playoffs, so please keep these dates open.
- The playoffs will follow a single-elimination format divided into divisions based on regular-season performance.
- The playoff schedule will be released and posted on January 29

BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS AND REMINDERS FOR PARENTS
- We kindly remind all parents to model positive behavior.
- Coaches coach, players play, and fans cheer.
- Avoid approaching the scorekeepers table, negative interactions with opposing coaches and referees.
- Any concerns should be directed to your head coach or a YBL Commissioner.
SAFETY INFORMATION
- First Aid will be available at the scorers’ table on Court 2 at The MAP Sports Facility on Friday night and Court 1 at Fountain Valley HS on Saturday.
